Coaching Privacy Notice (Privacy Policy)

This notice explains how 27:17 Fitness LLC dba Sharpened Fitness Nutrition and Wellness handles personal information for coaching clients. (If you also use our app, the app's Privacy Policy additionally applies to your app use.)

1. Information we collect. Contact and account details (name, email, phone); health and fitness intake (sensitive) — history, conditions, injuries, medications you disclose, goals; check-in data — weight, measurements, training/nutrition logs, and any lab values you choose to share; physique photos (sensitive); coaching communications; and payment information processed by our payment processor (we receive billing metadata, not full card numbers).
2. Sensitive data & consent. Health inputs, lab values, and physique photos are sensitive personal information. We collect them only with your action/consent and use them only to provide coaching to you.
3. How we use it. To deliver and tailor your coaching, communicate with you, schedule sessions, process payment, keep required business records, and comply with law.
4. How we share. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We disclose only to service providers under contract (below), as required by law, to protect rights/safety, or in a business transfer with notice. We do not use your photos, name, or results for marketing without your separate written consent.
5. Service providers we use. Our scheduling/booking provider, our payment processor (Shopify / Stripe), our email/communication provider, and — if you use it — the Sharpened Fitness app (Microsoft Azure hosting).
6. Retention. We keep coaching records while you are an active client and for 3 years afterward for legal, tax, and liability reasons, then delete or anonymize them. Physique photos are deleted on request except where we must retain a record.
7. Your choices. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and may withdraw consent going forward, by emailing legal@sharpenedfitness.com (subject to records we must keep). We honor applicable state privacy rights (e.g., CCPA) and do not sell personal information.
8. Children. Coaching is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
